Happy this morning at the news that Al Gore has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, making him the 4th US President/Vice President to win this prestigious honor. For those keeping score it's Democrats 3 (Gore, Carter, Wilson) Republicans 1 (Teddy Roosevelt). What are the odds that W would ever win the Peace Prize. More likely the War prize although in his case the prize would be dubious, thousands of lost lives, billions of wasted dollars and a ruined reputation for the United States as a bastion of freedom.
